OPT-IN/OPT-OUT bo's psychic abilities Because Bo is psychic and she's a child who only ever wants to help people, it's important that I have an opt-out post for her. Bo's incredibly powerful, even though she's still learning to harness and expand her powers. She's an empath in addition to a telepath, a telekinetic and so, so many other things, but the important part here is that she's an empath and a telepath. What this means is that Bo can feel your character's emotions and she can often tell what you're thinking, even if it's subconscious on your part. She never uses this maliciously, and in fact, tends to only use it accidentally, because as she's gotten older, she's realized that it actually takes a lot out of her, even when she isn't trying — which, she never is. What this means for your character: Bo can pick up on things and she doesn't grasp the fact that it's awkward or uncomfortable for others when she offers solace or comfort to those who she can tell need it. If she does this in person, given that she's very tactile by nature, she will offer tactile support which often manifests in taking a person's hand or giving them a hug. She does all of this unsolicited and because everyone who's ever taken care of her has only ever nutured her powers and helped her to grow them, she doesn't understand why this could potentially upset someone. She'll be quick to upset if she's told off for it. What this means for you: I don't obviously know every canon or every character out there or even in this game. So, I can't do this if I'm unfamiliar with the character and the player doesn't help me out. If you want out, then this doesn't matter anyway, but if you want in, then we need to discuss oocly or you need to drop me hints in your narratives when logging with Bo (or in narrative brackets when texting/messaging/networking with her).
